The World Health Organization has declared loneliness

LONELINESS PANDEMIC

12 percent of people now claim to have no close friends. Compared with 3 percent in 1990.

THE HUMANITY SERIES

A recent study has revealed that 53% of Gen-Z are satisfied knowing that AI-generated the content they read. It may be my age, but being born in 1985, I witnessed the world without the wonders of the internet, albeit for a very short time; the notion of AI dominating all content we consume is rather terrifying. This is the driving force behind The Humanity Series. The growth of technology must run in tandem with humankind, and it's up to us to ensure that technology doesn't inherently rob us of any valuable agency. That means ensuring we hold onto the values we cherish.

This series of blogs will feature a mixture of personal insights, experiences and perspectives on humanity, technology and the current loneliness pandemic. There will be satire, there will be raw emotion, and there will be mistakes. We will remain as honest as possible, though with genuine openness comes differences in opinion and opportunities for growth and improvement. Information flows fast in the modern world; not a day goes by when I don't learn something new. If you find any of our information incorrect or biased or would like to offer an alternative perspective, our team would love to hear from you and learn more.
